Score Bar Case Study: How to Improve Sales Performance and Solve Inventory Problems?

Score is located in the heart of South Beach, in the thriving and infamous promenade, Lincoln Road. For over a decade, Score remains the quintessential, gay nightclub experience for both locals and visitors.

Before 2008, Score Bar was not using any point of sales system to control inventory and sales, leaving all the sales process to regular cash register without any real management of sales levels, inventory, customer relations, table assignment or any of the features found on a Point of Sales System. Management never knew for sure what kind of products were selling more, and never keep tracking of the inventory against sales.

Score Bar features a total of 5 Bars distributed around the club, with a happy hour lounge on the front open from 3 p.m to closing time, also serving tables located on lincoln road.

Taking the first Step.

After the first review of the situation and a complete survey on the establishments, first steps were taken to the systematization of the bar operations. Starting with the happy hour lounge, Three All in One stations (MSI Windtop) touchscreen were installed on the bar, with Aldelo for Restaurants Lite Edition. Our Staff was in charge of the whole system installation and setup, with menu creation, training on sales and reporting to bar managers and bartenders. Each one of this stations were installed with their own cash drawer, thermal receipt printer, magnetic card swipe (even though the credit card system was not installed at the beginning).

QViD Technologies was alongside the whole process, even with an in-site live support during the first night that the system was put in operation. Our clients can rest assured that we will be there if any questions or issues arise during the live operation of the software. It was a very busy friday night, but the system keep up to the challenge and there was nothing wrong with it.

Bartenders and management were very happy with the results of the system, easy to work with the touchscreen and friendly interface, and getting all the sales reports from the busy night.
